Yeah, believe it or not submitting a Press Release is great for business. There is no doubt that a press release increases traffic to your site…almost immediately. How much traffic did you ask? Press Releases’ life expectancy are usually short lived. They need a connecting partner to extend the life of your press release. Why not use Twitter or Facebook fan pages to communicate and share the link to your Press Release. You never know who will like what they see in the release and send it on to their friends and friends of friends. You can see how this will prolong that awesome 50% traffic increase, right?
So, you’ve submitted some Press Releases and you are pretty proud of them. Create a press page on your site. While you are at it add an RSS feed so that people can subscribe to that page and be alerted when new, fresh news comes out abotu your company.
